We tried Taryn out for housesitting and dog/cat care and were so very impressed with her level of care provided for a short trip, especially with special needs such as a bossy cat and a very anxious senior dementia dog. Taryn is kind, communicative, a good sense of humor, and you can tell she really wants to build a connection with the animals from the beginning to end. Highly recommend Taryn to all!

Taryn has been a tremendous help for us and our dog, Tyrion. We rescued him at 8 months after he had some pretty rough upbringing before that, leaving him pretty traumatized and very untrustworthy of people. Even now with him at almost 7 years old, you basically need to be around him multiple times over quite a long period of time to even begin to gain his trust.

We let Taryn know that this would be a slow process and we would need her to come over and just hang out with us and him a few times before she would be able to watch him without us there. She was very flexible and considerate and after several of these drop-in sessions, the barking began to wane and he went from avoiding her completely to taking pieces of chicken from her hand.

We knew we were going to have to rip off the BandAid at some point and when we had to go away for a wedding, Taryn was ready.. and everything went GREAT! She is officially in the Circle of Trust and this brings us so much joy! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Taryn took great care of our high-energy lab. She played so much with him and he had a grand weekend! She kept in touch, took care of him, and our house was well cared for. We will definitely continue to hire her again in the future.

Taryn did a great job watching our girl Pennie. We could tell she was well-loved and getting tons of attention while we were away! She updated frequently with lots of photos and videos, allowing us to rest assured all was well at home while we were away! We would definitely have Taryn stay at our house again. The house was clean upon our return.

Taryn is an exceptional dog walker and sitter! She is reliable, compassionate, and communicates thoroughly, leaving detailed updates after every walk—always with the cutest photos and videos. Her love for dogs is obvious, and her warm nature shines through in every aspect of her care. My dog, Toña, is sensitive and can be wary of new people, but Taryn took the time to build an incredible bond with her. 

One thing I especially appreciate is how thoughtful she is—whether it’s wiping Toña’s paws after a rainy walk or noticing when she needs a little extra time to warm up. Whether it’s a daily walk or longer dog sitting while I’m away, I can fully relax knowing my furry best friend is safe, loved, and having a great time. I couldn’t recommend her more!

I truly cannot put into words how wonderful Taryn is. We’d just moved to Seattle and had to solely depend on Rover to find a dog sitter. We had looked through countless profiles and met so many different sitters. We had bad experiences with 2, and I was so scared of leaving my dog with a stranger. But we instantly clicked with Taryn.

Starting with messages, she was so was responsive and efficient in scheduling a meet and greet. We have a shy anxious Corgi and I’m 100% a helicopter mom. We have worked really hard on his training and needed someone who’d understand and work with us to create a safe space for our dog.

Cooper immediately took to her and she went over his schedule with us numerous times to make sure she got it all right. Taryn always checked in with us and sent lots of pictures. She also respected our apartment and even cleaned before she left so we wouldn’t have to worry about it when got home. She loves Cooper as her own and took such great care of him. I am so grateful for her!

Taryn did so great with my dogs! They can be a lot and she was more than ok with giving them the attention they needed while I was away! I definitely will request her again so I can feel comfortable leaving them home.

Taryn did amazing with my *very* anxious large dog. She left a great, detailed description of her visit and I couldn’t be happier with her care and communication!

We got very lucky when we found Taryn. We have two mastiff rescues who love people but need patience and time to adjust to change. Additionally, we were looking for someone with bully breed experience who could handle excited 100+ lb dogs. Taryn checked all of our boxes. She handles our mastiffs with both confidence and love, just like they’re her own.

Taryn is always willing to experiment to work through different challenges like separation anxiety, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her years of experience. When Taryn stays overnight, she follows the same routine we have and we always come home to calm and happy dogs. She is also very respectful of our home, always leaving it in the same state we left it for her. We wouldn’t be able to travel worry free without her

Taryn spent the weekend with our dog and cat, and they were so well cared for! Our dog had lots of love and walks, and our cat was equally tended to. Communication was excellent, and we were treated to daily reports with pics and videos. We will definitely call Taryn again!

Taryn is the BEST! Super communicative, punctual, thorough, and ever so loving. She’s super reliable and has all my trust. I will continue to use her every chance I get! She is always so amazing when dropping in on my rambunctious pup. She sends the best photos and videos! My dog loves her time with Taryn!

Taryn was able to house-sit Tofu on short notice and she did a fantastic job. The photos she sent were adorable and my floof was happy (as happy as she could be on meds with a UTI). She followed Tofu’s medication schedule and gave her frequent potty breaks. Lovely!

Taryn was awesome from start to finish. Took great care of my pups overnight (I think they already love her more than they love me) and sent me tons of photos and videos, which I’m not ashamed to admit I love. I have already booked her again for a few weeks from now.
