Payments

Pet Sitting:

Payment of 50% retainer for all bookings must be made upon booking confirmation. The remaining 50% must be paid within 24 hours of the sitting start.

Dog Walks & Drop-In Visits:

Full payment for all walks & drop-ins must be made within 12 hours after the visit ends.

Cancellations

Dog Walks & Drop-In Visits:

All cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking start are non-refundable, and the full fee is due upon cancellation. If travel fees were applied to visits, those are also due and will be added to the invoice.

* For extended care drop-ins and walks (e.g. 2x daily visit), including visits made in lieu of overnight pet sitting, all scheduled visits must be paid for upon cancellation, including any travel fees or additional fees. Example: Client schedules 8 weeks of 2x daily drop-ins but cancels halfway through after 4 weeks. All 8 weeks of visits must be paid for upon cancellation, not just the completed visits.

Pet Sitting:

Any cancellations within 72 hours of the sitting are completely non-refundable. The entire 100% service fee is due upon cancellation.

If a cancellation is made within 10 days of the sitting, I retain the 50% deposit only and no refund is given.

Pet sitting cancellations made more than 10 days before the sitting are completely refundable. We will refund you the 50% deposit within 24 hours of cancellation.

Holiday Pet Sitting Cancellations

We’re so happy to help and support you and your family during the holidays! That being said, holiday cancellations are limited. Please note that services that overlap with holidays are considered part of a holiday booking.

Holiday overnight sitting cancellation policies are as follows:

• 1 month: For any cancellations made more than 1 month prior to the booking, we retain the deposit, 50% of the entire booking fee.
• 30 days: Any cancellations made 30 days or less are completely non-refundable.

Late Fees

All unpaid invoices are subject to late fees. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the late fee structure is as follows:

• A 48 hour grace period applies to all invoices.
• After the 48 hour grace period, for every 24 hours an invoice remains unpaid, a $5 late fee applies per day. If the invoice remains unpaid after 5 days, the late fee increases to $10 per day. If an invoice remains unpaid for 10 days or more, the late fee increases to $15 per day.

Travel Fees

Travel fees apply for all visits that are 8 miles or more from my home. I do not travel more than 15 miles from my home in the Lake City area of Seattle. Fees are as follows:

• $10 per visits 8 miles away

• $15 per visit 10 miles away

• $20 per visit 12 miles away

• $25 per visit 15 miles away

Home Access

For all services, keys or key codes must be provided at least 12 hours before the booking starts. For pet sittings, the keys will be returned when we leave or within 24 hours of the sitting ends. For dog walks and drop-in visits, the keys will be returned when we leave.

Before the service starts, please send us the access information—the door code, lockbox code, or other form of entry.
